There is a group called “Fleet Final FINAL”. It has not been final since March. It contains duty instructions, a photo of a dent, a voice note recorded inside a helmet, and someone’s cousin selling a plot in Mohali. This is not a system. This is a hallway with notifications.
Dispatch by chat feels fast because the phone is already in your hand. It is fast the way shouting across a yard is fast. The message arrives. The acknowledgement does not. By noon you are scrolling up to find which driver was actually assigned to the airport, and the airport has already called.
A desk remembers the assignment. A group chat remembers who was online. Those are different skills. One of them invoices a department. The other one reacts with a thumbs-up to a PUC photo and calls it compliance.
KABPRO is the less theatrical option. The trip sits on a vehicle. The vehicle sits on a driver. Ask Fleet if you want the status in a sentence. Speak the duty if typing feels like a second job. The group can keep the birthday stickers. The cars should not live there.
If your backup plan is “I’ll just search the chat”, you do not have a backup plan. You have a hobby.
